Delivery

Two kinds of delivery
Fresh bouquets and arrangements are hand-delivered by the florist and are therefore limited to the studio's own delivery area. Dried flowers, vases, snips, ribbon, flower food and letterbox flowers are packed and sent by tracked post, so they can travel much further.
Whether your address is covered
The delivery area for fresh flowers is confirmed in the reply to your basket, before any payment is agreed. If a fresh bouquet cannot be hand-delivered to your address, the reply says so and suggests a posted item instead. Nothing is charged in the meantime.
How delivery is priced
Delivery is not included in the prices on this website. It depends on the distance for a hand delivery, or the size and weight of the parcel for a posted item, so it is calculated for your address and confirmed in writing first. You are never charged a delivery fee that was not set out in the email.
Dates and timings
Fresh bouquets are made on the morning of delivery, so a date is agreed by email; same-day requests are only possible if the flowers are already bought. Posted items are dispatched within 1-3 business days of payment, and transit is typically 2-5 business days. Letterbox flowers are cut in bud so they can survive the journey.
If something goes wrong
Tracking is emailed for posted parcels when they are handed over. If a parcel is late, damaged or does not arrive, or if a bouquet reaches the recipient in poor condition, use the contact form and it is handled under the freshness and refunds policy.
Seller
Flowers are sold by the florist who runs petalmere.com, contactable through the contact form.
