Freshness and refunds

Last updated: August 4, 2026

Cancelling before payment

Because every order is arranged by email, you can cancel at any time before you accept the quote and pay. There is no charge and no obligation.

Cancelling after payment

Fresh flowers are cut and tied for your specific delivery, so a fresh order can be cancelled or moved free of charge up to 24 hours before the agreed delivery date. Inside 24 hours the flowers have usually been bought and made, so a refund is not always possible; ask and it will be dealt with fairly.

Fresh flowers are perishable

Cut flowers cannot be returned. Instead, if a bouquet arrives damaged, wilted or clearly not what was agreed, write through the contact form within 24 hours of delivery and attach a photo. A replacement bouquet or a refund is arranged, whichever you prefer.

Vase life

Each fresh listing states an expected vase life in clean water with flower food. Flowers that last that long have done their job; flowers that fail well inside it are a fault, so please get in touch.

Dried flowers, vases and accessories

These can be returned unused and in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Tell the studio first through the contact form so the return address can be confirmed.

Who pays return postage

If an item is faulty, incorrect or damaged in transit, return postage is covered by the seller. If you simply change your mind about a posted item, return postage is paid by you.

Refunds

Refunds go back to the original payment method within 14 days of a return arriving, or of a fault being confirmed from your photos. Statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.

Seller

Refunds are handled by the florist who runs petalmere.com.
